Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to digital products purchased from lesscodex.dev and to service engagements contracted through lesscodex.dev. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase or entering into a service agreement.

2. Digital Products — General Policy

Due to the nature of digital goods (instant access upon purchase, no physical item to return), all sales of digital products — including themes, templates, and tools — are final and non-refundable once access or download has been provided. This policy is consistent with Indonesian law on electronic commerce and consumer protection for digital goods (UU No. 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen and applicable e-commerce regulations).

3. Digital Products — Exceptions

A full refund will be issued if: • The product is substantially different from its description on the product page. • The product contains critical defects that prevent its primary intended use, and we are unable to resolve the defect within 7 business days of receiving your report. • You were charged multiple times for the same purchase due to a technical error. Refund requests under these exceptions must be submitted within 14 days of purchase to hi@lesscodex.dev, with a clear description of the issue.

4. Services — Deposit

The project deposit (typically 50% of the total project fee) is non-refundable once work has commenced. The deposit compensates for time allocated, scoping, and initial work completed. If a client terminates a project before work begins (i.e., before the first deliverable has been produced), the deposit may be refunded at the discretion of lesscodex.dev, minus any administrative or scoping costs incurred.

5. Services — Progress Payments

Payments made for completed milestones or phases of a project are non-refundable. These payments correspond to work already performed and delivered. If lesscodex.dev terminates a project, any payment in excess of the proportion of work completed will be refunded within 14 business days.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under an applicable exception: 1. Email hi@lesscodex.dev with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name / Order Reference]" 2. Include a clear description of the reason for the refund request 3. Attach any relevant evidence (screenshots, error descriptions, etc.) We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and aim to resolve it within 14 business days.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and may take 5–14 business days to appear in your account.

8. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including UU No. 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen and related e-commerce regulations.
