Aurum House
Five small hotels in five cities, presented as a live index with tonight's rate and local time.
Aurum House
Overview
A multi-property group site for five hotels in Lisbon, Copenhagen, Kyoto, Mexico City and Tangier. Where a single property can lead with one photograph, a group has to solve a different problem: helping someone scan five options and understand the differences fast.
Role
Brand invention, information architecture, art direction, copywriting, front-end build, deployment
Challenge
Hotel group sites usually degrade into five identical cards with five identical adjectives. The page needed to feel like an operational index — something a returning guest would actually scan — while still selling.
Approach
The hero is typographic rather than photographic, which separates it from the other five sites at a glance. Below it, a dense row-based index gives each house tonight's rate in its own local currency, rooms free tonight, and a live local clock. Region filters narrow the list and the summary line updates to match.
Outcome
Live and verified. The clocks are genuinely timezone-correct (Kyoto reads nine hours ahead of Lisbon), region filtering narrows 5 → 2 → 1 with matching copy, and every rate row holds a single consistent height across five currencies.
